Importation of 28 Airport Fingers

Involved in large projects of infrastructure development in the country, in August 2013, Timbro imported 28 airport fingers for the International Airport of Viracopos, in Campinas, São Paulo.

The equipment was ordered by the airport and they may start operating in May 2014, when the terminal will be ready for the World Cup.

The new passenger terminal of Viracopos will be a modern structure using concrete, steel and glass, with 28 fingers, seven new remote parking positions of aircrafts and a garage building with 4,000 parking spaces.

The idea is to make it the largest airport in Latin America within around 30 years, and the main national center of flight distribution, which is performed today by Congonhas Airport, in the City of São Paulo.
